What is counselling?

Counselling is a talking therapy where by your counseller listens and walks alongside you while you figure out what is going on and how you are to move forward.

What will happen in my session?

I work in an integrative way. What does this mean?  I believe that we all have our own answers - just sometimes we struggle to identify the wood from the trees. So I walk alongside you to explore what is going on for you. We may use a range of resources but we will explore each thing before we do it.

Each session is 50 minutes long and we work together to find out whats going on and what the next step is.

Why do I need it?

Some people come to counselling because they are experiencing depression, anxiety or low mood. This maybe something that they have experienced for a while or it maybe something that is new to them.

I also work with people who have experienced trauma - this maybe recent or historical.
